‍ Drawing and coloring is what I started out with, whether it was scenes from films, my daily activities, or something that inspired me. The biggest inspiration for me growing was nature, landscape, and wildlife. This subject made me want to focus on photo-realism, to accomplish creating a captivating image or scenery in my paintings and drawings. Four years of art classes in high school was rewarding, along with being a member of the National Arts Honors society. It was the introduction to working with different mediums, creating portfolios, and becoming exposed to more artistic environments. After high school, I attended Bowling State University, graduating with an associates of art degree. I then transferred to The Ohio State University to major in art, where I had the chance to work with multiple different mediums, and to be introduced to several professional artists, environments, and platforms. Working on oil painting, illustrations, ceramics, film photography, and even glassblowing. Building towards a more professional portfolio, I then graduated with a bachelors in art in 2024. 

Currently, I try to exercise my use of the mediums that I have used, along with trying to establish themes. I am still working on film photography with the 35mm film camera I had used in college. Trying to capture scenes of places where I travel, primarily historic architecture, nautical and terrestrial environments. Also experimenting to capture abstract images and patterns, all through black and white film. The same applies with my digital photographs as I try to capture the best images with position and appliance, also to enhance the saturation, ambiance, and apply filters. The goal is to create something nostalgic, captivating, and to introduce scenery with different perspectives. 

I am also continuing to exercise my photo-realism through oil painting and drawing. Trying to keep learning to capture lighting, shading, form, and structure to accomplish a realistic image through a paint brush or pencil. Also experimenting with abstract art with paintings and drawing, such as patterns, geometric form, and natural form. Still primarily focusing on the theme of nature, and working to expand towards new subjects and improve my use of artistic media.
